Acne Scarring

The nutritional therapy process at Eudelo embraces a truly integrative approach, not only treating the skin issue from the outside, but also supporting the individual from the inside out, aiming to bring about significant improvements to problem skin.

Acne Scarring

Acne scarring is a very common concern, but the good news is that with the right treatments, we can improve it significantly. At Eudelo, everything begins with a dermatologist-led, evidence-based approach to softening scars and smoothing skin texture. Our aim is to keep your skin safe and never leave you with that ‘over-treated’ look. Once we have carefully mapped your different scar types and skin tone, a bespoke, stepwise plan is designed in partnership with you, often integrating different collagen-remodelling in-clinic treatments and supportive skincare. Subtle, progressive change is what you can expect, all while respecting the individual characteristics of your skin. Safety is non-negotiable: consultations and treatments are delivered by experienced practitioners using evidence-based techniques and providing transparent, honest timelines. If you feel ready for smoother, more even skin, without the drama, our team is delighted to accompany you on the journey.

Treating Acne Scars

Acne scars do not have to be a lifelong sentence. While no responsible clinic will promise to erase scars completely, noticeable softening and a smoother surface and refined texture are well within reach with the correct plan. At Eudelo, your journey starts with stabilising any active breakouts and mapping your scar types (ice‑pick, boxcar, rolling, etc.), alongside a careful assessment of skin tone and sensitivity. This groundwork guides a truly personalised programme, never a one‑size‑fits‑all model.

Your plan may draw upon several treatment modalities. Radiofrequency microneedling, fractional lasers and advanced medical needling treatments create precise, controlled micro‑injuries that stimulate collagen renewal and skin remodeling. TCA CROSS suits very narrow, deep scar pits; a tiny, targeted drop of acid is applied to help the base of scars fill out gradually. Subcision, carried out under strict sterile conditions, uses a fine needle to release scars tethered below the skin’s surface. Selected skin boosters containing amino acids, hyaluronic acid (HA) and/or PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) can provide support for wider depressions and support skin regeneration on a cellular basis, while regenerative add‑ons, such as PRP (platelet rich plasma), Exokine or Exosomes, can strengthen results and accelerate healing. For darker skin tones, we prepare the skin thoroughly prior to in-clinic treatments, where needed, to minimise the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, and all procedures are delivered in our registered medical clinic, in spotless, clinical and hygienic conditions, never in a salon, somebody’s home or in a non-medical environment like a spa.

A typical treatment course for acne scarring combines different treatment modalities to address the issue from different angles. As an experienced dermatology clinic, we understand that a monotherapy hardly ever achieves the desired results in acne scarring. Realistic time spans are six sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, with improvements quietly building over six to twelve months as your skin remodels.

Downtime varies: expect transient redness (two to three days) after RF microneedling and medical needling sessions, tiny scabs (five to seven days) following TCA CROSS and certain laser treatments, and possible bruising for a couple of weeks post-subcision. Scars should gradually appear softer and shallower, makeup sits more evenly, and texture becomes more uniform - rest assured, results will always look natural, never ‘done’. Aftercare is specific and essential. It may include a calming, antiseptic moisturiser, daily broad‑spectrum SPF 30–50 with a high UVA rating, gentle cleansing, and avoiding heat and exercise for a few days to protect your investment and minimise risk.

Safety underpins every aspect of our approach at Eudelo. Treatments are administered by dermatologist trained, experienced practitioners, with meticulous skin prep and disinfection, sterile fields for minimal invasive treatments like medical needling, and appropriate pain control where needed. For individuals who have recently been prescribed isotretinoin (‘Roaccutane’), we time procedures with extra care. Our philosophy is to proceed conservatively, adjusting your plan with every step as your skin responds. Curious about your options? Book a consultation and together, we will create a bespoke, effective plan grounded in expert care, ensuring your skin evolves beautifully and in a way that is unmistakably you.
