Aesthetic Dermatology
Considering a cosmetic procedure?
To achieve the best possible, low-risk results it's vital to choose the right clinic. We are proud that Eudelo is a Dermatologist led clinic. Dermatologists are in a unique position to combine expertise in cosmetic treatments with in-depth knowledge of skin biology and conditions. All Dermatologists have undergone rigorous training in their specialty and have been assessed by their country's medical examination boards.
In Continental Europe, where our lead Dermatologist Dr Stefanie trained, Cosmetic Dermatology has become an integrated part of General Dermatology, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards possible. Dr Stefanie has therefore brought in a sound Dermatologist's approach to our entire clinic, so you can be sure everything we do is Dermatologist-developed and approved.
Another great thing about choosing a Dermatologist led clinic for your cosmetic treatments is that whether your skin concerns are medical or aesthetic, you'll visit the same, one-stop clinic for them all.
Smoothing Lines & Wrinkles
One of the three key areas of Aesthetic Dermatology is smoothing facial lines and wrinkles. There are three main types of facial wrinkles, which determine the recommended treatment. Eudelo has developed a range of effective non-surgical treatment options for all three types, namely dynamic lines, static lines, and gravitational folds.
Adding Volume & Facial Contour
While cosmetic treatments used to be all about chasing lines and wrinkles, the past few years have focused more on re-contouring the face. There is no doubt that naturally plump 'apple' cheeks, a beautifully straight nose and a firm jawline contribute to a more attractive profile. If you're not naturally endowed with these features or have lost some of them with age (as we all do), we can give you a non-surgical helping hand with special contouring and volumising injections.
Improving Skin Surface & Texture
Apart from wrinkles and facial contours, the third 'column' of Aesthetic Dermatology aims to improve your skin surface and texture. Achieving an overall better 'skin quality' is equally as important as fixing lines and wrinkles to the overall appearance of your skin.
Improving Pigmentation
At Eudelo, we see many patients with melasma (patchy facial pigmentation also known as chloasma), post-inflammatory pigmentation and mottled pigmentation due to sun damage. While these are stubborn problems that won’t disappear overnight, we offer effective in-clinic and home treatment options to help even out your skin tone.
Hands, Neck & Décolletage
It's a sad fact that when most people apply their daily skincare products, they tend to focus on the face and miss out the rest. Neglecting your hands, neck and chest may well come back to haunt you when they no longer live up to your well-maintained face. Whenever you apply your facial skincare, always take it down to your chest - think 'hairline to nipple line'. And don't forget the backs of your hands!
Removing Blemishes
A wide variety of benign lumps and bumps can arise on your skin. Common examples are skin tags, warts & verrucas, milia, little vascular lesions such as ´cherry angiomas´(´blood spots´) and pigmented lesions known as seborrhoeic warts. Some people might also have a tendency for ´overgrowing´ (hypertrophic or keloid) scars, which can be very distressing.
Skincare Consultation
A good daily skincare regime can work wonders for long-term skin quality and texture, while improving irregular pigmentation, fine lines and pore size. Cosmeceutical skincare has come a long way in the past few years!
Micropigmentation
Semi-permanent make-up, or micropigmentation, is a cosmetic enhancement in which hypoallergenic pigments are infused into the skin, in order to create colours and shapes that mimic perfectly applied make-up in soft natural tones.
Excessive Facial Hair
We see patients in clinic with excessive facial hair. This might be due to a simple hereditary tendency with no underlying problem. As treatment we can prescribe a cream containing eflornithine (Vaniqa®) which helps slow down the hair growth.
Excessive Sweating
Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis can be a miserably debilitating condition. Deciding what to wear - and what to leave off - becomes a real dilemma. Patients whose palms sweat excessively have told me that they are reluctant to shake someone's hand and may avoid physical contact entirely. Even if you don't suffer severe problems like these, it may still be worth coming along to chat about your options, since even patients with only mild excessive sweating have reported how much their quality of life has improved after treatment.
Stretch Marks
Stretch marks appear when the skin is stretched too strongly, too quickly. They often occur on the tummy in pregnancy, on the back during a teenage growth spurt, after muscle-building training or with weight gain. Stretch marks are essentially little tears or scars in the skin. As with any scar, it's likely that they won't disappear completely, but Eudelo can offer a treatment to make them much less visible.
Dermatology Grade Facials™
We recommend that people with troubled skin should avoid seeing High Street or Spa beauty therapists for facials, as they are not trained sufficiently to deal with real problem skin. Our Medical Aestheticians have completed rigorous training and work closely alongside our Dermatologists. They are all highly experienced in performing special non-surgical treatments for troubled skin.
Regenerative Dermatology
Our holistic Regenerative Aesthetic Dermatology approach combines different treatment modalities including a variety of non-surgical regenerative procedures, skincare and lifestyle changes. The following list is a selection of some of our key regenerative procedures.
Body Treatments
With our innovative fat melting injections, we can reduce unwanted fat deposits (for example on tummy, inner thighs or knees) with a minimal-invasive treatment in comfortable, relaxed surroundings with no general anaesthesia, scalpel or stitches in sight.
Eudelo Cell Hiit
Eudelo Cell HIIT ™ uses pioneering German technology IHHT (intermittent hypoxia-hyperoxia treatment) to help your cells regenerate and provide anti-ageing benefits on a truly sub-cellular level. Not only that - it also balances the autonomic nervous system to help it cope better with stress.
Biohacking the Skin
The idea of Eudelo’s ‘Biohacking the Skin’ treatment course is to gently nudge the skin from different angles, to naturally behaving like younger, healthier and better-functioning skin. The programme of treatments aims to change the environment in your skin and body, in order to tweak your skin’s biology to optimise its functions as well as appearance.
