What are warts and why won't they go away?
There are many different types of warts, all caused by a virus, that can be really stubborn to get rid of! At Eudeo our wart removal treatments are safe and effective - no matter what kind of wart you have, we get rid of them all! Treating Warts
Warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) which causes benign skin growths. The virus stimulates the body into creating an excess of keratin, and this hard protein accumulates in the epidermis, causing a hard, rough texture.
Small, grainy or lumpy in appearance, warts most often occur on the feet, hands, fingers and facial areas, occasionally they can also appear in the genital area. Whilst they can be unsightly, affecting a patient’s self-esteem and confidence, they can also cause discomfort, especially if the patient leads an active life. Common warts, plantar warts and flat warts are the warts we see most frequently in our clinic.
