Aesthetic Treatments in Peri- & Post-Menopause

“When a perimenopausal woman tells me she just wants to look fresher, I understand exactly what she means. That’s the goal — not looking like she did back in her 20s, but simply maintaining the skin elasticity and vitality that gradually diminishes during hormonal transition. It’s about her appearance reflecting how she feels inside.”

Beyond Appearance — Why It Matters Now

The impact of aesthetic treatments extends beyond appearance. Research shows that non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments can deliver measurable benefits in confidence, self-esteem, and quality of life, whether you are pre- or post-menopausal. Studies have documented positive psychological effects including reduced anxiety and depression symptoms, enhanced social functioning, and improved overall life satisfaction among patients following aesthetic procedures.

In addition, research has shown that treatments such as chemical peels can lower the risk of developing skin cancer by removing sun-damaged cells from the skin. There are also studies suggesting that aged skin cells, so-called senescent cells, accumulating in the skin can release pro-inflammatory substances and may negatively impact internal organs. This indicates that senescent cells in the skin may not only contribute to local skin ageing but may even drive systemic ageing processes in the body.

Aesthetic treatments in peri- and post-menopausal skin are becoming increasingly popular. However, there are some important things to know if you are considering them at this stage of your life.

Menopause & Your Skin

Menopause is the second-largest hormonal change you’ll experience in your lifetime - after puberty. And just as puberty transformed your body and skin (remember that congestion?), menopause will too. The difference is that this time, you can prepare for it - your skin doesn’t have to be at the mercy of your hormones.

At Eudelo, we see peri- and post-menopausal women in clinic every day - women experiencing skin changes that can feel disheartening. Not only the well-known dryness and redness, but also the more difficult-to-tackle loss of skin firmness and elasticity that can seem to appear overnight. And sometimes, breakouts return after decades of clear skin. The common thread? Hormonal shifts that can begin years before menopause start to make their presence known.

This guide explains what happens to your skin during the menopausal transition years, why it happens, and - most importantly - what you can do about it. Not with miracle creams or dramatic interventions, but with the kind of evidence-based, preventative, and minimally invasive approach that has been at the heart of our practice for over a decade.

What happens to your skin during menopause

Here’s the thing - the skin changes you notice during menopause aren’t simply ‘ageing’. They’re driven by something very specific: the decline in oestrogen and progesterone, combined with the intense hormonal fluctuations that can happen on a daily basis.

Oestrogen plays a critical role in maintaining your skin’s structure. It supports collagen production, helps retain moisture, and keeps the skin barrier functioning properly. Progesterone, on the other hand, influences sebum regulation and cell turnover, meaning that when its levels fall, skin can become drier and more fragile, sometimes with an unexpected return of breakouts.

When these female hormone levels drop - typically between the ages of 45 and 55 - the effects ripple through every layer of the skin.

The changes are measurable and well-documented:

  • Collagen loss accelerates dramatically. Women are thought to lose around 30% of their skin’s collagen in the first five years after menopause. This isn’t just a continuation from pre-menopause, it’s more like putting a foot all the way down on the accelerator. The result is a significant structural change that leaves skin thinner, more fragile, and less firm and elastic.
  • Elastin deteriorates. Along with collagen, the elastic fibres that give skin its bounce and resilience begin to break down. The result is sagging, particularly noticeable around the jawline and mid-face.
  • Facial shape shifts. The face that was heart-shaped in youth may now appear more triangular, with flattened cheeks and more heaviness in the lower face. That’s because you lose not only collagen and elastin, but also fat tissue, especially in the mid-face area. And it doesn’t stop there - even the bony support of the skull gradually decreases. Together, these changes reduce the volume in the support structures beneath the skin, making sagging almost inevitable.
  • The skin barrier weakens. Increased water evaporation, lower water content in the outer layers of skin (the stratum corneum) and reduced oil production all contribute to the persistent dryness that menopause is known for.
  • Sensitivity increases. More than half of adult women report ‘sensitive’ skin, and this becomes even more pronounced around menopause.
  • Flushing and facial redness. Skin may flush more easily, or redness may persist (known as ‘fixed erythema’), sometimes accompanied by broken capillaries (telangiectasias). If the redness is related to rosacea, which is common at this stage, you may also notice red bumps or acne-like lesions.

One particularly important finding: collagen decline is linked more to hormonal or menopausal age than to chronological age. This shows just how closely the skin is connected to your hormones. What happens here isn’t simply a continuation of pre-menopausal ageing, it’s a distinct biological event with severe consequences for your skin.

The changes you’ll notice

In our clinic, the skin concerns we hear most often from women going through perimenopause and menopause are remarkably consistent:

  • Loss of firmness and elasticity. Skin may start to look crepey, with a general tired or worn-out appearance that no amount of sleep seems to fix.
  • Deepening lines. Fine lines that once came and went begin to settle in, becoming more deeper and etched into the skin.
  • Sagging. Often most noticeable along the jawline, this occurs as mid-face volume loss, gravity, and reduced collagen combine.
  • Persistent dryness. Skin can feel tighter, more dehydrated, and rough, even with a solid skincare routine. However, be aware that this tight, dry feeling can also signal microinflammation, a common feature of rosacea-prone skin, which is common during peri-menopause and menopause. It’s always best to see a dermatologist rather than assuming dry and tight feeling skin is ‘just part of the process’.
  • Breakouts and rosacea. Hormonal shifts can increase prostaglandin production, which contributes to microinflammation, flushing, redness, and contributes to rosacea-related red bumps or acne-like lesions.
  • Adult acne. As female hormone levels decline more rapidly than male hormones, the relative increase in androgens (male hormones) can trigger breakouts. Around 40–50% of adult women experience adult breakouts.

Many women find it especially discouraging that these changes seem to arrive all at once, at a time when hormonal shifts may also affect mood and emotional wellbeing. It can feel as if your skin has altered overnight, but the process often begins quietly in your early forties - long before you realise you’re perimenopausal. That’s why it’s so important to plan ahead. The good news is that all of these skin changes can be treated successfully. Can we prevent them entirely? In all honesty - no, but we can very significantly slow down the decline, make you look more like you feel inside, and help you feel like yourself again. Remember, you don’t have to go through this alone - there is help.

A common menopause skincare mistake (it’s not what you think…)

You may assume the common skincare mistake we’re referring to is not using products that are hydrating enough during menopause. But that’s not it - there’s so much talk about dryness and using richer creams during menopause that it’s easy to lose perspective. The real issue is often the opposite. We frequently see women in clinic with adult acne or rosacea triggered by using skincare that’s too rich in oils and/or silicone derivatives. It makes intuitive sense: your skin feels dry, so you reach for a heavier moisturiser. But that feeling of dryness may not be true dryness in rosacea-prone skin - it can be a sign of microinflammation. Applying thick, occlusive creams may feel soothing at first, but over time they can worsen congestion and inflammation.

The added challenge is that many anti-ageing formulas are designed with rich, greasy bases that can block pores, dull the skin, and contribute to breakouts in predisposed individuals.

The good news is that there are effective lightweight products that hydrate without clogging or overloading the skin. Look for formulations that are low in oils and silicones but high in active ingredients that genuinely support skin renewal and regeneration. For peri-menopausal skin that’s prone to congestion or breakouts, choose products low in lipids and silicones, and focus on hydration through intelligent formulation rather than heaviness. There are genuinely clever menopause strategies, for example switching from AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) to PHAs (polyhydroxy acids) like gluconolactone and lactobionic acid, which are gentler, hold more water, and can help calm redness in sensitive, reactive skin.

This is why it’s especially valuable during peri- and post-menopause to see a cosmetic dermatologist who can design a skincare regimen suited to your skin’s changing needs, rather than blindly following the ‘richer is better’ skincare cult.

Why skincare alone isn’t enough

Good skincare is essential, no doubt about that. But when you are expected to lose around 30% of your collagen in just five years, topical products alone can only do so much. The structural changes happening during menopause run deep, into the dermis where collagen and elastin provide the framework that holds everything up, and even into the subcutaneous fat pads. To make meaningful changes in a time of such dramatic decline, we need to raise our game and look beyond skincare alone.

This is where regenerative treatments come in. Not to make you look like somebody else, but to support the skin’s own capacity to produce matrix components like collagen and maintain its structure. Think of it as helping the skin help itself.

In addition, you may consider corrective treatments such as filler and ‘botox’, which can have remarkably transformative results when done correctly (and in a way nobody would ever know you had something ‘done’). However, having these corrective procedures in isolation, without also maintaining a youthful level of skin regeneration, is like building a house on sand. The foundation matters more than the decoration.

Perimenopausal Aesthetics: Common Mistakes to Avoid

Women in their peri- and post-menopausal stage of life are increasingly seeking subtle aesthetic enhancements that boost confidence and overall wellbeing. Unlike younger patients who may solely focus on prevention, this demographic may experience psychological benefits in particular from treatments that enhance skin quality and restore a healthy glow, in addition to gentle facial contouring to restore lost volume and contours.

Research confirms that minimally invasive cosmetic treatments maintain a good safety profile around menopause, although more mature patients may need enhanced personalisation and careful management of downtime. Eudelo’s signature approach involves carefully tailored treatment plans that account for age, skin condition, healing capacity, and individual aesthetic goals. With that in mind, peri- and postmenopausal patients often need a slightly different treatment philosophy, even if the individual procedures may be familiar. For example, their skin barrier is typically a little more vulnerable and reactive, so we tend to be more cautious with anything that causes controlled injury, such as peels, laser resurfacing, or stacked treatments in a single session, and instead favour gentler modalities, longer intervals, and good barrier support before and after procedures.

Oestrogen-related dryness and microinflammation also mean bruising and swelling can sometimes feel more pronounced, so we factor in bruising tendency, healing capacity, medications, and overall health at assessment, and plan treatment around life events and downtime tolerance.

For injectables, we pay particular attention to changes in fat pads, ligament support, and bone resorption, which means rebalancing facial volume strategically rather than simply ‘filling lines’, and using lower product volumes per area with careful placement to avoid heaviness in an already sagging lower face. Across the board, there is an even stronger emphasis on natural looking, undetectable results, with more conservative dosing of neuromodulator botulinum toxin (‘botox’) to preserve expression, and on combining injectables with regenerative work, so we are supporting skin quality and structure rather than relying on ‘quick fixes’.

The goal is that nobody can tell you’ve had anything done. Always. We would rather undertreat than overtreat. Your friends may ask if you’ve been on holiday, slept better, or changed your skincare. They won’t be able to pinpoint what’s different - they’ll just notice you look well. That’s the entire game. Eudelo’s 100% Natural Results Guarantee means exactly what it says.

Because aesthetic treatments are less forgiving in peri- and post-menopausal women. The face has less natural volume and contour, the skin is thinner and less elastic, and small errors or overtreatment that might go unnoticed in a thirty-year-old can be glaring at fifty or sixty. On a psychological level, we also feel strongly that obvious cosmetic work is a complete no-no at this stage of life. What might just raise an eyebrow in your 30s can look truly tragic in your 50s (excuse the honesty - we are not here to sugar-coat it). Poorly performed or overdone treatments in peri- and post-menopause can make you look older, look weird, and can be difficult to reverse. That’s why it is essential to choose a medical clinic you can trust, with extensive experience treating peri-menopausal women and a deep commitment to subtle, natural results.

Dr Stefanie Williams examining a patient at Eudelo dermatology clinic

“Aesthetic work is less forgiving in peri- and postmenopausal women. It’s bad enough if it’s somewhat obvious that a patient had ‘work done’ when they are in their 30s or 40s, but it’s unforgivable if that’s the case in somebody in their 50s upwards. Aesthetic treatments should never be obvious, but the older you are, the more vital this is. That’s why our approach emphasises subtlety and natural enhancement. We focus not just on lines and wrinkles, but on overall skin quality improvement – achieving that coveted healthy, evenly-toned complexion.”

The 4 Cornerstones of Menopause Aesthetics

At Eudelo, we approach peri- and postmenopausal aesthetic treatments through four distinct treatment areas that work well alongside each other, because no single treatment can address the complex changes happening around menopause. If anyone tells you this ‘miracle treatment’ is all you need, they are not being honest. It would be like going to the gym and being told that training a single muscle group on one machine is all you will ever need to stay in top shape. You would not believe that either.

Here are the main four key areas we often work with in peri- and post-menopausal women, and that you should consider. This does not mean you have to opt for all four. If for example you don’t feel ready for cosmetic injectables, that is completely fine. Everyone has to make their own decisions and choose what feels right for them, and you should never feel pressured or pushed into something you are not ready for. However, our role is to outline, from an objective and professional point of view, which treatments your skin and face are likely to benefit from, so that you can make a truly informed choice. In the same vein, there may be additional treatments we recommend in particular cases. This does not mean there is nothing else, but these four are important cornerstones and an excellent starting point. And it goes without saying that skincare is non negotiable and should always sit alongside any in clinic treatments!

So, here we go, the four cornerstones of menopause aesthetics according to the Eudelo Method:

Regenerative treatments

As mentioned, women are thought to lose around 30% of their skin’s collagen in the first five years after menopause, and that loss runs deep into the dermis, where topical products realistically cannot reach. Regenerative treatments can help the skin behave more like younger skin again at a cellular level - all the way down to where it matters. This is important, because we want to address the issue at its root rather than just ‘painting over the cracks’. And the other great news, regenerative treatments never look obvious or ‘done’.

There are various regenerative treatments in our arsenal that we can choose from depending on each individual case. These include advanced medical needling such as PRP or Exosome/Exokine needling, selected regenerative laser treatments, and different types of skin boosters including AminoStructure (amino acid based, using Sunekos), MicroSphereStructure (PLLA based, using Julaine), HydroStructure (HA based, using Profhilo or Densify III), and polynucleotides.

Regenerative treatments are the foundation of everything else we do, and they are absolutely vital for anybody around menopause.

Anti-wrinkle injections

There are two main types of anti-wrinkle injections: muscle-relaxing injections (‘Botox’) and fillers. Most people don’t fully understand the difference between them or when to use which. Let us explain.

Dynamic (mimic) lines such as frown lines, forehead creases, and crow’s feet are caused by overactive mimic muscles. Initially, they are only visible when the muscle is engaged; however, over time, they can become permanent. This is when they are called ‘secondary static’, once the line has etched itself irreversibly into the skin. During the peri- and postmenopausal period, when collagen levels decline dramatically, this process can accelerate. Ideally, mimic lines should be treated before they turn static - they are much, much easier to address at that stage. The treatment that addresses the root cause of dynamic lines is muscle-relaxing injections with botulinum toxin, a neuromodulator often referred to as one of its brand names, ‘Botox’.

Our low-dose approach (‘Baby Botox’ or ‘Sprinkle Botox’) softens overactive movement without freezing it, preserving your natural expressions while softening lines and preventing them from etching themselves irreversibly into the skin. Rather than taking a ‘standard three areas’ approach, we assess your entire face in motion and inject tiny amounts wherever they are needed, watching which muscles pull too hard, which create asymmetry, and which are best left alone. In our experience, injecting more points, each with a much lower dose, looks better than using fewer injections with a higher dose each. It’s all about fine-tuning, and our goal is that nobody can tell you’ve had anything done. You just look well-rested and refreshed.

The second big group of corrective cosmetic injectables is fillers. These are often HA-based (hyaluronic acid) and are used to treat static rather than dynamic lines. They lift depressions in the skin and are used for lines such as nose-to-mouth folds, marionette lines below the corners of the mouth, and mid-cheek lines. They can also be used when mimic lines have become secondary static, to complement the action of ‘Botox’ in these areas.

Furthermore, more viscous types of filler are used to contour the face and replace lost volume. In this case, we refer to these fillers as ‘volumisers’. Volumisers are a particularly useful type of cosmetic injectable around menopause. That’s because as we get older, it’s not only the fat pads in our cheeks that deflate and migrate downwards, but even the underlying bone diminishes, which leads to the overlying skin becoming essentially ‘too large’ for the structure beneath it - causing sagging, folding, and that general ‘tired’ look. Volumisers are able to replace this lost volume and beautifully restore more youthful contours to the face. Not to make you look puffy or overfilled in any way, but simply to replace what you have lost.

At Eudelo, rather than inflating the entire face with volume, which would look unnatural, we identify select key structural support points where small, precise amounts of product create a disproportionate lift, leading to completely natural-looking rejuvenation. Think of it like putting a jacket back on its hanger - support the fabric at only three points to restore its structure and shape, soften creases, and let everything fall naturally into place.

At Eudelo, we use only the highest quality hyaluronic acid fillers and volumisers, as these have the best benefit-risk ratio and are fully reversible, should there ever be a need. We also tend to build up gradually over follow-up appointments rather than overdoing it in a single session. The result: you look like yourself, just more rested. Like you did some years ago.

Dermatology Grade Facials™

Founded by award-winning Dermatologist Dr Stefanie Williams, Eudelo coined the term Dermatology Grade Facial (DGF) to describe treatments that go far beyond high-street, spa, or medical-grade facials. DGFs are developed and approved by a specialist Dermatologist, performed by Dermatologist-trained medical aestheticians in a clinical environment, and designed not only to support skin regeneration and long-term skin longevity on a cellular level, but to be safe and effective even for patients with conditions such as adult acne, rosacea, and eczema - conditions that would typically be a contraindication for conventional facials.

Eudelo’s Next Generation Dermatology Grade Facials (DGFs) also feature freshly compounded, made-to-order facial masks. The Delo Rx masks are blended from scratch moments before application, choosing from more than 20 ultra-pure powdered active ingredients, carefully sourced from all over the world - without fragrance, colouring or superfluous fillers. The dry blend is mixed with nothing but a little FIJI Water, naturally rich in skin-supporting minerals from a protected volcanic aquifer, to create a fresh paste tailored precisely to your skin’s needs on the day. Because each mask is compounded to order, there is no need for preservatives or stabilisers, resulting in formulations that are exceptionally pure, clean, and hypoallergenic.

Each Next Generation DGF session begins with a detailed skin assessment, from which the Dermatologist trained therapist assembles a fully bespoke treatment protocol drawn from an extensive range of clinical technologies, including HydraFacial wet microdermabrasion, deep oscillation lymphatic drainage, plasma energy and chemical peels, iontophoresis, cryostimulation, electroporation, ultrasound, microneedling with tailored mesotherapy infusion, LED light, pressotherapy, grounding, and brain wave entrainment, among others. With dozens of possible treatment paths, no two sessions are alike. Expert manual extractions of comedones and, where needed, milia remain a cornerstone of every treatment.

Laser & IPL for redness

Hormonal shifts around menopause can trigger increased prostaglandin production, contributing to micro-inflammation and vasodilation, which can lead to flushing or persistent redness. Rosacea, which is also common in this time of life, can further aggravate redness issues. The good news is that there are effective Laser and IPL treatments available that target these vascular issues directly, reducing broken capillaries and calming the redness that no skincare product can fully address.

At Eudelo, we use a completely tailored approach to treating redness, broken vessels and other vascular lesions. Rather than treating everything with the same redness laser, we have three different laser and IPL applicators by prestigious manufacturer Candela in clinic. Our IPL system benefits from innovative Selective Waveband Technology (SWT), which filters light into precise wavelengths that are much narrower than traditional IPL, targeting specific skin concerns while minimising collateral tissue damage, for safer and more refined results. In addition, we also have a highly effective Nd:YAG laser.

Depending on each individual case, we will select the most suitable wavelength and device for treating your particular vascular issue, based on the type of lesion, location, your skin type, vessel size, vessel shade and other parameters. Sometimes we may use one applicator, while other times we may use two different ones to achieve optimal results. The treatment is completely personalised.

Peri-Menopausal Collagen Banking

Now, let’s talk about one particular approach from the regenerative area that we feel very passionate about. At Eudelo, we are using an approach that we call peri-menopausal collagen banking. Like a savings account for the skin, you build up collagen reserves before the menopausal decline accelerates. Because helping you sail through menopause as if it’s nothing is the foundation of everything we do.

By actively stimulating collagen production prior to expected periods of accelerated decline, you can build up reserves that help mitigate the hormonal effects. For best results, plan ahead a decade. Start thinking about collagen banking when you turn 40. Women who begin in their early forties may find their skin looks better at fifty than it did at forty! Think of it as a savings account for your skin - regular deposits that compound over time. However, it’s never too late, so even if you read this in your 50s, collagen banking is still very worthwhile. The other huge advantage? This approach is completely natural. You will never end up looking ‘over-done’. Nobody would ever know.

The Collagen Conservation Masterplan

Our collagen banking programmes use a selection of advanced regenerative treatments that are designed to work together. Which exact combination is best for you depends on your individual case, but some of the most popular regenerative treatments that may form part of your Collagen Conservation Masterplan are the following:

  • Advanced medical needling: Collagen stimulation therapy combined with infusion of growth factors, whether they come from bio-identical exosomes or from your own blood in the form of PRP or Exokine Needling - one of our most popular regenerative treatments.
  • Eudelo AminoStructure: A gentle plasma energy peel with infusion of an amino acid rich mesotherapy solution, followed by injection of renowned, amino acid rich biostimulator Sunekos - stimulating multiple collagen types plus elastin.
  • Eudelo Exosome E-Proteus: Bio-identical exosomes combined with microneedling and radiofrequency - jolting fibroblasts into action at a cellular level.
  • Eudelo SoundLift: A combination of plasma peel, cryotherapy and micro-focused ultrasound with visualisation - targeting not only the dermis, but also the SMAS layer for a multi-layered approach to lifting.
  • Eudelo PLLA Exo-Needling: One of our most comprehensive regenerative packages combines deep medical needling and bio-identical exosome infusion with injection of poly-L-lactic acid containing skin booster Julaine. A perfect way to deeply rejuvenate and plump the skin, and - most importantly - make a substantial deposit in your collagen savings account.
  • Eudelo’s ‘Refined & Radiant’: A treatment package combining laser, selective wavelength IPL and topical care, this treatment is designed for brighter and more evenly toned skin while at the same time refining skin texture and quality.

The plan isn’t one-size-fits-all. During your Skin Health Audit, we assess exactly where your skin is, what your concerns are, and which combination of treatments will deliver the best results for you. It’s a personalised programme, not a menu.

Menopause, Breakouts & Rosacea

Not all menopausal skin changes are about collagen loss and reduced firmness. Many women are also blindsided by adult acne or rosacea, with breakouts and redness suddenly appearing in their forties or fifties. These are not mere cosmetic inconveniences; they are medical skin conditions, and they respond best to medical treatment. Eudelo is a true fusion clinic, combining medical and aesthetic dermatology all under one roof, which means we can address rosacea, adult acne and skin ageing under the care of the same expert team.

And a word on skincare for this unfortunate group. If you are dealing with congestion or adult breakouts and are also seeking effective skincare to slow down skin ageing, you are in the frustrating position of finding that the vast majority of anti-ageing products worsen your skin, as they are too rich in oils and silicones. It is unfortunately almost impossible to find truly advanced anti-ageing skincare that is ultra-low in both oils and silicone derivatives. That is why we recommend sticking to the Delo Rx range, advanced anti-ageing skincare perfectly suitable for congested and breakout-prone skin.

However, anyone suffering with rosacea or adult acne that has not improved with over-the-counter skincare after three months should see a Dermatologist for medical treatment of their breakouts. Please do not suffer in silence – there is effective help available.

Why Choose a Dermatologist-Led Clinic

Not all clinics are created equal – and when it comes to aesthetic treatments for menopausal skin, the difference between a high-street aesthetics chain or generic doctor-/nurse-led clinic and the gold standard of a Dermatologist-led clinic is significant. Menopausal skin is complex: you may be dealing with accelerated collagen loss, breakouts, sensitivity and structural changes all at once. That combination requires true Dermatology expertise, not just cosmetic or general medical training.

At Eudelo, every treatment protocol is developed by, and every treatment is carried out under the oversight of, Specialist Dermatologist Dr Stefanie Williams, and every single one of our therapists is Dermatologist-trained. This makes a huge difference. If you have complex skin (which, around menopause, you do!), you need the most sophisticated level of care – don’t settle for less.

A Dermatologist-led clinic can also address both medical skin conditions (such as rosacea, adult acne, eczema) and aesthetic concerns (such as contour loss, lines, skin quality, enlarged pores) all under one roof, often within the same treatment plan. Most aesthetics-only clinics simply cannot do this – they may treat the cosmetic concern but miss the underlying medical issue, or vice versa.

And this difference starts from the very first consultation. In many clinics, you might simply have a quick look in the mirror and a brief chat with a practitioner. At Eudelo, we carry out a full Skin Health Audit at your first visit, using advanced in vivo diagnostic tools to objectively measure your skin’s barrier function, hydration, elasticity, surface pH, invisible sun damage, vascular damage under the skin, and more. Every recommendation is grounded in your skin’s actual physiology – not a visual once-over or a one-size-fits-all menu. And best of all - Eudelo’s Skin Health Audit is complimentary - no need to commit.

This is what it means to be cared for in one of the very few true fusion clinics in the UK, combining medical and aesthetic dermatology under one roof. For menopausal skin, that fusion is not a luxury – it is the difference between a treatment plan that truly works and one that only addresses half the picture.

Your Next Step

How well you age is, to a large extent, your choice. You can take control.

If you’re noticing changes in your skin and want to understand and address what’s happening - or if you’re in your forties and want to get ahead of the curve - we’d love to hear from you. A complimentary Discovery Call is the simplest way to start: a brief phone conversation to discuss your concerns and see whether Eudelo is a good fit.

Based on that conversation, we’ll recommend the right next step. For some patients that’s a Dermatologist appointment. For others, it’s our complimentary Skin Health Audit - and this is where things get interesting. Most clinics start with a quick look in the mirror and go straight into recommendations. Our Skin Health Audit is a thorough in-clinic consultation where your Patient Consultant uses advanced in vivo diagnostic tools to objectively measure key markers of your skin’s health: barrier function, pH, oil production, elasticity, surface texture, hidden sun damage beneath the surface, vascular damage, and skin flakiness. Think of it a bit like a dental check-up - reassuring, thorough, and based on actual data rather than opinion.

Patients love it, frankly, because for the first time someone is showing them objective evidence of what their skin needs rather than just recommending treatments based on a visual once-over. That evidence is exactly what makes our treatment planning genuinely personalised. If your barrier is under stress, we know to address that first. If your elasticity is declining faster than expected for your age, that changes which treatments we’d prioritise. Every recommendation is grounded in your skin’s actual physiology - not a best guess.

The Discovery Call, and the Skin Health Audit that may follow, are both completely free of charge and without obligation. There’s genuinely no pressure - plenty of patients call us months before they’re ready to start. We’d rather you felt completely confident than rushed into anything.
